Picture of the Day 08.03.2016
I have once again reached a new country: Panama! Although it took two buses and a boat and quite some time at the border to get here it was worth it. The border-crossing wasn't actually all that difficult, it's just that you have to go to four different places and stand in line at each one of them to leave Costa Rica and enter Panama. But I made it and am now in Bocas del Toro, a group of island in the north of Panama just next to the border....and it's just so beautiful here. It's just how you imagine the Caribbean, crystal-clear water, colorful wooden houses and relaxed people. I will have no problem spending some time here. Although I haven't yet found quite the spot to show all this beauty so here is just a simple snap today and I will spend tomorrow searching for the perfect photo. Oh but I can confirm that the country really is full of bananas, they grow everywhere and every supermarket seems to be full...so I guess you can say the whole country smells like banana.
