Picture of the Day 16.01.2016
My journey into nowhere continues. I’m now staying at Blue Duck Station, a farm and lodge in the very very beautiful middle of nowhere. The farm itself covers 7000 acres including mountains, rivers and forests. So cool. I went kayaking on an extremely peaceful river, had some beer and then went shooting clay pigeons. Yes in that order. But the greatest part was the blue duck I spotted at one of the waterfalls. Blue ducks are actually even rarer than the kiwi-bird and this farm is dedicated to protect them and increase their numbers. It’s a great cause and it’s all located in the most secluded and untouched piece of the world you can imagine.
