Picture of the Day 20.01.2016
After yesterdays skydive I opted for a less exciting and cheaper day today. I was actually able to sleep in for the first time in weeks (and people still think travel is relaxing..) and then just went for a nice walk in Abel Tasman National Park. The campground I'm staying at is called "The Barn" and perfectly located at the entrance to the park. The coastal walk then takes you all the way along the coast from one beautiful beach to the next one. I just walked for a few hours and then relaxed at the beach but all in the all the walk is 90 km long if you have the time. The forest here is still in a very natural condition with all kinds of great plants and trees growing everywhere. The tree was completely black from what looked like a forest-fire some time ago but the fresh green leaves crowing over is made for a great contrast in the image.
