I went back to Bamberg this weekend one last time in probably quite a while to meet some friends and of course take some photographs. In the late afternoon I met with Steffi and Fritzi for a portrait shooting when the heat was finally becoming more bearable and obviously the setting sun made for awesome natural light. For a bit of a rougher background we went to the main train station of Bamberg where we could get quite close to some wagons...of course without illegally entering the stations property or anything else dangerous... But the light was just perfectly shining from behind the wagons for great catchlights in the hair without the need for any special equipment.
After the sun had set behind some trees we went to another location around the corner where we had a nice looking brick wall background...yeah it looks better than it sounds. Here I used a small flash for some fill light from the side.
All the photos seen here where shot on my Nikon D750 with a Nikon 85mm 1.8D lens, I did use the Nikon 50mm 1.4G at some time but in the end I didn't use the shots. Oh and here is one quick bonus shot at the supermarket wall in front of which I had parked my car.
